I have WMP11 version 11.0.5721.5230. It plays my libray ok and all other functions including internet access and email are ok, as are burning cds. (FYI - I also use activesync to sync music etc to an hp 5915 WM5 machine and this works fine. Also playback of my library and also wmv via web are just fine.

Linksys WMP11, ca. 2003.
WMP11 in Vista is on my internal HD on E:\ amd XP is on C:\ and it's small. I have a new 500GB external HD and I'd like to change my location for ripping my WMP 11 files to the external HD (in WMP11 on XP and in WMP11 on Vista. You can do it easily with Itunes and I have. Is there a way to do this with WMP11?

Being that Linksys makes a WPC11 I was hoping that the WMP11 was just a PCI version of the pccard version and the driver would work. Now, here we are at WMP #11, and I'm beginning to believe it will never happen. I use WMP11 to play my CDs at home, but it's getting old fumbling with cases of CDs, and especially when traveling it'd be nice to be able to leave the excess baggage at home and just have all my music on my laptop.
